UK IPTV setup guide
In brief
Install an IPTV player app on your device, choose Xtream Codes, and enter the server, username and password from your UK IPTVs email. On a Fire TV Stick the whole job takes around ten minutes.
Fire TV Stick (the UK favourite)
- Switch on developer options. Settings, My Fire TV, About: press the device name seven times.
- Install Downloader. Search for "Downloader" on your Fire Stick and install it.
- Allow Downloader. Settings, My Fire TV, Developer options, Install unknown apps: turn Downloader on.
- Install a player. Use Downloader to install an IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters or TiviMate.
- Log in. Choose Xtream Codes and enter the server, username and password from your UK IPTVs email.
Typing long addresses with the remote is slow: the free Fire TV app on your phone gives you a proper keyboard.
Samsung & LG Smart TVs
Install an IPTV player from the TV app store. Many players show a device ID on screen; you then add your UK IPTVs playlist on the player’s website and it appears on the TV. Prefer simplicity? A Fire Stick plugged into the TV is often quicker.

Sorting common problems
The app says my login is wrong.
Check the server includes http:// and the port number, and that there are no spaces before or after the username or password.
Programmes are not showing in the guide.
Give it a few minutes after first login, then refresh the EPG in the app settings.
Can I use a Sky Q or Virgin box?
Those boxes cannot install IPTV apps. Plug a Fire TV Stick or Android box into the TV instead.
